Narcissistic? (Fuck Facts)

A lot of people think I am way too fun. That I am a happy capsule. That it’s easy to live my life.

Well, here’s an entry to prove you wrong!

Hi, I’m Cristina Marie Bonifacio Yambao. Take a moment to let it sink in. Yes, this is me. Read on.

I realized that Cristina is a bit of a stripper name. You probably think I have heard the call of the pole. But no, If you saw me, you’d get the idea pretty quickly that I am not a stripper. (I think? Kidding).

Ok back to me. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?

Know some people who sleeps like an angel? I’m not one of them. I am an ugly sleeper. My sister would always say I look like a victim of Sadako. Tama ba? Yung sa the ring where people die looking like they just came out of the freezer at naka nganga? Haha. That’s how I look daw. I snore. I sleep talk and laugh, I drool. Why do I know these? Because My ate took a photo of me sleeping and posted it on IG. I got so mad haha!

I have brown hair, fair complexion (kunwari), I have poor eye sight but I don’t wear glasses. Why? Because I can’t. My nose is too tiny and I sweat a lot. Tendency, it would just fall off my face. I don’t like contact lenses either because I’m narcoleptic. I can sleep standing. Seriously. You can ask me what I dreamt about after 5mins and I swear I don’t make them up! I sleep anytime, anywhere and I was told you can’t sleep with your contact lenses. So I saved my life. Soon to celebrate my 5th yr of being 18 on the 10th of July. I am cancer.

MY HOROSCOPE FOR TODAY

Showing your feelings may not be the best thing to do right now. Keeping to yourself could save you from unwanted entanglements. Be staunch, do not stoop to complain, and you will gain the respect of all for your worldly reticence. Send requests through channels and things will flow more easily.

Going back:

I use to have a looong super straight healthy hair. Now it’s a crappy one. When I was a kid, every time my birthday comes, I’d wish for my very own salon. That went on until I was 13.

Lastly, I am an insecure person. I don’t like how I look. I don’t basically like myself. AT ALL. I remember one time when I confided to one my friend and cried buckets of tears just because a girl is way too prettier than me. Hahaha that girl happens to be the my crush’s crush. Also, every time someone compliments me, like I’m pretty,  I would always shoo away the topic off me. Because I know I’m not. Kairita no?

So that’s a list of my most annoying flaws. There is a point to this list, I swear, but I’ll go back to it later. Read on.

I am trying to re-organized my life. I am starting to read again. (which I just lost interest in, 30 mins ago) I want to pull my old self back. I want to be the boss of my own self again. I want to live my life free from insecurities. My old self that is interesting and funny.

A life that is drama free. A happy soul and a heart that is healthy. I’d also like to put this blog into public. And talking about being public, I swear to be more vocal on how I feel and think. Like how I am when writing. 🙂

PMS?

I usually get emotional whenever this sheez is coming. Yeah, normal girl problems.

Like right now, I think I’m starting to get all emo-is about anything. Also, I get easily irritated! WHY?

Many women in their reproductive years experience transient physical and emotional changes around the time of their period. In fact, at least 75% of women with regular menstrual cycles report unpleasant physical or psychological symptoms premenstrually. For the majority of women, these symptoms are mild and tolerable. However, for a certain group of women, these symptoms can be disabling and may cause significant disruption in their lives.

I can also enumerate the Psychological Symptoms of it. Duh, afkorz I know these. am a gurl.

  • Depression – Even the smallest thing. (e.g. i don’t know what to eat – I become sad and cry)
  • Irritability – THIS. Normal to saken but imagine it on very high level when I have my thingy. You won’t even try to get near me. Seryoso yun haha. Lalo na pag mainit (that’s how a girl normally feels pag meron. So keep distance ❤ )
  • Sensitivity – Hell yeah. Haha don’t you dare tell me I eat a lot whenever my monthly bwisitor arrives and that I’m getting fat. (I do and I know. Don’t rub it on my face, bitch)
  • Social Withdrawal – I am a blabbermouth. I TALK ALOT. You won’t find me alone in one place not talking to anyone. Except when I’m reading and I’m PMSing. I find everyone annoying, nonsense and stupid. Like really.

Highlight of the upper mentioned? DEPRESSION.

*emo post coming at cha, bro*

I’ve been posting a lot lately that is kind of FUN. Don’t get me wrong, I am happy. But as what they say, behind every smile is a tear. Charot may ganun bang quote?

Anyway, being too happy scares me. I have this thing on my mind that all happiness comes with sadness. (RIP Grammar?) Kebs na. So at the moment, I am happy and I’m anxious of what will happen next? I die? Chos. OA.

Before I go way off topic, here’s the punch line: I am scared.

I once promised someone not to ever say this phrase . But promises are made to be broken. RIGHT? Lol kidding. Tao lang teh, kung may marunong masaktan. May marunong matakot.

I am in situation of “If you were to save someone from a sinking ship, who is it gonna be?!”. Bobong reference haha pero it’s something like it. Ok? Bare with me or else. (irita)

*Torn song plays* chos.

30 mins of just staring at my screen. *kroo-kroo*

Out of words. (Publish post.) xx

BRUNCH DATE :)

Another to cross out my list!!

Image

Milky & Sunny is the newest hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Kapitolyo, joining other holes-in-the-wall (like Charlie’s, Cafe Juanita, Rub, etc) to create a VERY big hole in the foodie-heart of Pasig. HAHAHA. I’m so smart.

With all of them holes-in-the-wall (ok, I promise, that’s the last time I’ll say it HAHA) practically next to each other, you’d think it would be difficult to spot this place, but Milky & Sunny was screaming with perkiness and stood out from the drab concrete strip of East Capitol Drive.

It’s a charming little place with an inviting facade and quirky but clean interiors, serving breakfast all day from 7am to 10pm (my kind of resto!).

ImageImage

I had the breakfast big plate and a bowl of star chever cereals! 🙂 Hehe so good 🙂

ImageImage

Manila definitely needs more breakfast places for morning people (not so) like me, so thanks, Milky & Sunny, for filling in that HOLE…in-the.. haha, ok I won’t say it!! 😛

Katsurap! :)

Love tonkatsu?  Then you really have to try Yabu: The House of Katsu. ❤ Crossing it out on my list! 🙂

Image

Why do I like YABU? Their menu says it all.

ImageImage

“When you are served OUR Yabu Katsu, you can tell the difference right away — the katsu is so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, you can slice it with chopsticks.”

Image

There’s also a guide on how to create the dipping sauce. ALIW 😛

Image

Had Superior Potato and Egg salad and hiyayakko tofu! (P199)

Image

For the real deal: Drum roll please.

Their best seller is the Tonkatsu Set which comes with unlimited Japanese rice, miso soup, Japanese pickles, unlimited cabbage with sesame dressing, and a bowl of fruit.  There are two kinds of Tonkatsu Sets: Rosu (Pork Loin) and Hire (Pork Tenderloin).  I got the 100g Hire (P330).

Image

So yummy!! My verdict? I have not found a place which beats Yabu for the best tonkatsu in the Philippines.

Happy kid ❤
